Requirements/Eligibility Criteria For NNPC/SNEPCO Scholarship 2025/2026

Below are the Eligibility Criteria, requirements and things you should consider before trying to apply for the NNPC/SNEPCO Scholarship 2024. Below are the eligibility criteria for the scholarship;

An Applicant must: 

• Be a Nigerian citizen.
• Be in your second year (Level 2) of full-time study at a Nigerian University accredited by the NUC.
• Have a above a CGPA of 3.50 from nigeria universities grading system
• Not be benefiting from any other scholarship from a company in the oil and gas industry either National or International.

Note: Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply

Things Needed To Apply For the NNPC/SNEPCO National University Scholarship

If you plan on applying for the scholarship, below are the things you need to submit an application;

1. A valid personal email account and phone number.
2. A good network connection because the Application is online
3. Have personal and educational details ready for use during form filling
4. Have scanned copies of the following:
   • A recent passport-sized photograph of the applicant in JPEG format, not more than 200k
   • Your University Admission Letter or JAMB Admission Letter
   • JAMB original result
   • O’Level result and ‘A’ Level /OND /NCE Result(s) as the case may be
   • State of Origin
   • Your result at the end of your Level 1.

Below are the steps you should follow if you want to apply for the NNPC/SNEPCO Scholarship 2024:

2. Look for the “Register Now” button in the portal and click on it to create an account.
3. Check your email inbox and click on the verification link they sent there
4. Visit on https://candidate.scholastica.ng/schemes/2024NNPCSNEPCo to return to the Scholarship portal
5. Provide your email and password and continue to uploading of your information.
6. Fill in your personal information, National Identification Number (NIN), educational information, and other information, and upload the scanned documents required.
7. Make sure the names you used in applying is same with the ones names on all documents and are arranged in the same order. Make sure you Upload a sworn affidavit or certificate if you have name change issue.
8. Make sure you view all documents after uploading to ensure they are clear and accurate.
9. If you’re asked to upload a photo, make sure you upload a passport photograph that has a white background.
10. Crosscheck application information to avoid errors
11. Then Click on the “Apply Now” button to submit your application
12. Anemail and an SMS will be sent to you to confirm that your application was successful.
13. Go back to https://candidate.scholastica.ng/, provide your Email and Password and click on login for you to access your profile, print the documents required and take it to your Head of Department sign the document.
14. Lastly, make sure you go back to the portal and upload a scanned copy of the signed document (Printout) as it will be used for verification.
